»Over the course of a calendar year, Cyprien Gaillard and I created and distributed nine different t-shirts with the effigies of contemporary artists, much like concert t-shirts. We deliberately reproduced the anonymous production and distribution methods of those shirts sold outside of rock-concerts: during the span of an art fair, the t-shirts were sold by street vendors often recruited from the illegal immigrant workforce of each city.«

»Each time one of the featured artists had an opening, a designated fan would wear the t-shirt and ask the artist to sign it, much like the ritual that takes place back-stage at a concert.«
